Alvarado's work extends to the fields of cinematography, book publishing and the organization of processes of social Transformation.

 

His individual and collective work has been exhibited in places such as: the 56 Venice Biennale in Italy; the Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC) in Mexico; the Gwangju Biennale in South Korea, the Milan Film Festival in Italy and the Rotterdam Film Festival in Netherlands; among others.
