Magic Land

A photographic series that explores a decaying amusement park in Senegal.

Once intended for laughter and wonder, the place now appears as a strange and silent stage. The rides are worn down, corroded by time and neglect; the structures, covered in dust and sand, stand like ghosts of what they once were.

Everything is bathed in a palette of warm, earthy tones, echoing the desert landscape that surrounds it. In this suspended atmosphere, where the sun bleaches even the color, childhood joy dissolves into a feeling of nostalgia and strangeness.

The series moves through this forgotten space as if wandering through a fading dream: a territory where play and ruin coexist, and where each image seems to ask whether the magic was ever truly there.
