KULEANA

In collaboration with Binna Choi & Andrés García Rilley

Kuleana brings together the sound sculpture “Money as Instrument” and the sculptural work “Inverted Iceberg”, presented for the Gwangju Art Museum ACC as part of the Tooling Project of Arts Collaboratory.

The project engages with material and metaphor in equal measure: the sound piece reimagines money not as a static object of value, but as an active tool capable of producing resonance — both sonic and conceptual. Alongside it, the “Inverted Iceberg” sculptures invert the logic of visibility, pointing to what lies beneath the surface of perception.

Through this pairing, Kuleana reflects on the shared responsibilities — and hidden structures — that underpin collective artistic and social processes.
