POBO TZU
Guided by the dreams of a poet, a displaced community begins to unearth the remnants of their past lives, still buried beneath the ashes left by the eruption of the Chichonal volcano thirty-five years earlier. What emerges is not only a recovery of objects and memories, but also a collective act of remembrance, where grief, resilience, and imagination intertwine. The film traces this journey as the community confronts both the weight of loss and the possibility of renewal, revealing how buried histories continue to shape the present.
